Sands in N. Ireland can offer support to bereaved parents in a number of ways. In June 2006, a N. Ireland Helpline was launched. Parents can now contact someone directly in N. Ireland who has experience of stillbirth or neo-natal death.
Currently there are 3 support groups which meet monthly, with the hope that 2 more will be staritng in the near future. They are run on a very informal basis and anyone can attend.
