The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety has commissioned the Patient and Client Council to undertake a pre-consultation as part of the Maternity Services Review. SandsNI has been invited to take part.

Bonmarche stores throughout Northern Ireland are hosting a fundraising event to support Sands NI, the Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Charity, who offer support to anyone affected by the death of a baby.

All Bonmarche stores & employees will be selling balloons at £1 each, which they will launch from the 18 stores across the province on Friday 8th February. The owners of the 18 balloons found furthest away from the starting point will win a cash prize.

BonMarche representative, Michelle Allen said "We will be encouraging all our employees & customers to take part in this event, which we hope will contribute significantly to Sands NI's much needed funds."
