In 2013 in the UK, one in every 137 babies was either stillborn or died in the first 4 weeks of life

Here in N. Ireland, over 3 babies a week are stillborn or die in the first 4 weeks of life.

We support all bereaved parents who have lost their babies, before, during or shortly after birth.

Lights of Love Portadown

Friday 6th December, 7:30pm

Portadown Friday 6th December, Seagoe Parish Church.

This will be our 7th year for the Portadown service and the second year for Derry/Londonderry.

The main focus of the services is the Sands Christmas Tree.

Parents are invited to place a hand-written card on the tree during the service in memory of their child.

The tree will remain up all through the Christmas period.

The message on the card can be anything, from a simple "Missing you at Christmas, love Mum & Dad" to words of scripture, words of a song/poem or something you've composed.

The service will include well known Carols and some very moving poems as well as a Bible reading.

One Mum said "I placed my card on the tree which filled up with lots of other cards, it made me feel less alone and that my little boy was not alone too"

Cards can be written and placed on the tree for you if you can't make it to the service by emailing your message to us.

Please write your address on the back of each card if you would like them returned to you after the tree is taken down in January.
